Dili, March 3, 2017 – Director General of Statistics conducted training with a theme of learning of Macro-economic and National Account, the training will be held during one week time, from this training with a reason to offer knowledge and capacity building to DGS staffs in order to know and to analyze of macro-economic and national account. Appart from this training, the trainers are from Australian Bureau Statistics, they are Mr. Dennis Robson and Ms. Mariam Diakite.
“Before conducting this kind of training Directorate General of Statistics (DGS) commence convoke the opening ceremony in order to convey the content of manual that will use during training. Staffs are going to attending a training approximately 35 people. The candidate or participant are from various department within DGS, except staff from National Director of Statistics Cartographic as all staff currently undertaking pilot boundary mapping for the aldeia level”, said Silveiro Martins Pinto, Chief of Human Resource Unit of DGS.
Mr. Cristino Gusmão, National Director for Economic also stating that this training is really important as this kind of way can providing deeply knowledge and enhance your capacity in the fields of macro-economy and national account. In this occasion also he act on behalf of Director General of Statistics to extended appreciation and pride to staffs of Australian Bureau Statistics that provide their valuable time to offer this formation to our staffs. He also highlighted that all participants need to take this training in seriously as you all know that the trainers from International expert which is willing to share their knowledge with us in DGS and this if also really important to us in future of our nation.
