DGS on 29 May and 06 June 2017 was holding one day Dissemination workshop in Each Municipality such as; Special Administrative Region of Oecusse and Ermera on Census returning back Results or Census Fo Fila Fali results

Directorate General of Statistics under Minister of Finance was holding one day workshop of 2015 Census Fo Fila Fali results booklets for 18 sucos in Oe-cusse Municipality in 29 May 2017, and in 6 June 2017 there was also one day dissemination workshop conducting in Ermera Municipality in this mentioned municipality will received Census Fo Fila Fali 2015 booklets which is for 52 sucos/villages that exit in Ermera. The booklet was introducing to users simple indicators that compared development during 5 years after the 2010 census and 2015 census, this will prove to us how much changes during 5 years, list of indicators such as Education, Health, Sanitation and so forth, we presenting it by viewing through maps to the national authorities and also sucos leaders in order to quick understand and use it in their programed plan.

Workshop of 2015 Census Fo Fila Fali was leading by Vice Minister of Finance, H. E. Helder Lopes, General Directorate of Statistics, Mr. Elias dos Santos Ferreira, President Authorities of Municipality Oe-cusse and President Authorities of Municipality Ermera, representative of UNICEF in Timor-Leste, Representative of NGO’s, representatives of church, Post Administrators as well as Head of Sucos/village, representative of PNTL, representative of FDTL.

Representative of UNICEF-TL in Oecusse, Mr. João da Costa, said that “from the hard work of Ministry of Finance and General Directorate of Statistics, there is also a support of the UNICEF technique. UNICEF prefers focus in Children age 0-17 years. Evidence of data-base will be used as an investment for the future of our nation’s children.  UNICEF has agreement to keep giving support techniques to advance in government (Ministry of Finance). Keep using all this information data for planning the future state”.

Representative of UNICEF-TL in Ermera said that “with this opportunity, we would like to congratulation to all of them, thanks and gave appreciation to program of this government. With the data we can build a better country”.

President Authorities of Municipality said that “all of this data to made planning for development of country. So we must focus for this program of government because it is very important to us. We cannot do everything without the data”.

Vice Minister of Finance, Mr. Helder Lopes, said that “this workshop is very important, share the data information obtained from the community and will be restored again in the result Census Fo Fila Fali 2015. I would like to say many thanks to all people from all sucos/villages who had been helped to success this kind of hard work; thanks have helped the census DGE team. Objective of this workshop is to give back the information has obtained from the community, so that the community can find out in sucos/villages, they still lack and what was already there.”

There is granting booklets or documents of Census Fo Fila Fali 2015 to heads of sucos/vilagges in Oecusse and in Ermera by Vice Minister of Finances and President Authorities of municipality.
